2021514日,岔路学校六年级英语备课组进行了一次集体备课活动。主要探讨周域老师的小教研课Unit4 Road Safety,课后本年级组教师针对如何培养学生在课堂交流中的思考和倾听习惯

研讨:中学楼一楼办公室

3.活动主题

研讨小教研课Unit4 Road Safety,探究如何培养学生在课堂交流中的思考和倾听习惯。

4.活动步骤

①组长提前一天发教研活动通知,本组教师提前备课。

②年级英语教师听课学习。

③课后进行教学研讨,每位教师整理自己的想法依次发言。

④主持人归纳总结

三、教学设计

Step1  Free talk

T: Good morning, class.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Sun.

T: Wow, everyone comes to school on time today, I’m very happy.

T: Can you tell me how do you come to school every day?

S: By bus/car/bike/electric bicycle/On foot.

T: Well. It’s good for our environment./It can save energy./Maybe you can choose public transport, like bus or on foot.

T: Boys and girls, on your way to school, will you walk by any roads, like this?PPT呈现学生过马路的图片)

S: Yes./No.

T:Before you cross the road, what should you do?

S1: I should be careful.

S2: I should …

T: Yes, so today well talk about road safety.(带读课题)

T: Safety means you will be safe, not in danger.

Step2   Presentation

Learn some vocabularies about traffic.

T: First, lets think what can you see on the road?PPT呈现道路上的交通标志)

(教读:a zebra crossing, traffic lights, red man, green man, a pavement

Match the pictures with the sentences.

T: Now let’s look at the pictures carefully, try to match them with the right sentences.

T: Well done! Sometimes the pictures can help you understand the text. Let’s see P90.

3. Read the story quickly and line down the topic sentence.

4. Learn P1 by pictures and fill in blanks.

(1) Read P1.

(2) Say a chant: How to cross the roads safely?

First look for ______________.

Then look at ______________.

Traffic lights mean different.

You must wait, on the road!

5. Learn P2

T: When there is a zebra crossing, we can walk through, but when there is no zebra crossing, how can we cross the road safely?

1Read P2 and do T/F, you can line down the key words.

6. Learn P3 by filling in the blanks.

7. Watch the video about the whole passage.

8. Read the whole passage.

9. Finish the exercise on P38.

Step3  Practice

T: Now let’s have a rest and enjoy a short video.

T: Can grandma cross the road safely?

S: No.

T: Lets help her, OK?(同桌活动,完成对话并表演)

Step4  Consolidation

Group work: choose one topic and make a dialogue in groups.

A. Road safety for walking people.

B. Road safety for car drivers.

C. Road safety for bus passengers(乘客).

D. Road safety for bikers.

T: Today we know a lot about traffic rules, so from today on, when we cross the road, we should stop, look, listen and then cross. Then we’ll be safe. And also, that is the rule for all. When we do other things, we should also do like this, the you will have a better result.

Step5   Homework

Read the story again by yourself. Try to retell it in your own words

List out what you must do and must not do. Make it into a poster.
