同课异构,单元整体性教学
——六年级英语第四次备课组活动
一、情况概述
11月10日,六年级英语组的全体成员进行了第四次集体备课活动。本次活动主要围绕陈刚老师的教研课Unit5 Signs开展研讨,结合上次程老师的story time版块,根据单元整体性教学特点,同课异构,给人以崭新的视听感受。
二、备课内容
(一)单元教材分析
本单元的话题为“公共标识”。在教学过程中要紧密联系生活实际,引导学生关注标识,讨论标识,做遵守公共法规和秩序的社会公民。
本单元的新授句型有:What does … mean? It means…和No+doing(动名词)结构。前者要求学生灵活运用,后者只需学生认读理解即可。另外,本单元呈现了的情态动词can和can’t的新用法,表示允许和禁止的意思。教师可以结合学生以前所学的can的用法进行对比教学,帮助学生区分和理解两种用法。
本单元呈现的公共标识只是现实生活中众多标识的一小部分,教师可以要求学生课前将自己认识的标识画出来,带到课上和大家一起分享。还可鼓励学生去发现更多的公共标识,作为教材学习的有效补充和延伸,鼓励学生为班级、学校、街道、社区等场所设计和制作公共标识,学以致用,提高公民意识。
(二)单元教学目标
1. 知识目标
(1) 能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇:sign, shopping centre, careful, mean, floor, around。
(2) 能听懂、会说、会读词汇:letter, go in, take…into, restaurant, someone, smoke, smell, outing, walk on。
(3)能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型和日常用语:What does it mean? / It means…/
No littering/ parking/ smoking/ …/ You can / can’t…。
(4)能听懂、会说、会读“Public signs”。
(5)能听懂、会说字母ir在单词中的读音,要求发音准确。
2. 技能目标
(1) 能正确朗读课文,灵活运用本单元所学的句型整体复述语篇。
(2) 通过本单元的学习,让学生能够看懂一些常见的公共标识,并能用英语进行询问极其描述。
3. 情感态度目标
(1) 通过学习公共标志常识,加强社会公德教育,提高学生自身的文明素养。
(2) 懂得“播下一种动作,收获一种习惯;播下一种习惯,收获一种品格。”的道理。

预习:
1.课前搜集一下生活中常见的“公共标识”图片。
2.讨论一下搜集的“公共标识”图片的名称和含义。
3.Unit 5 Signs(P48-50),听录音模仿朗读课文,读熟,划出新单词、句子,写好音标,不懂的可以查字典。
(四)教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
Guessing game
1.T: Good morning, boys and girls. Do you like watching TV at weekends? Can you guess what does Miss Chen like doing at weekends?
PPT: She likes reading books, doing housework and going shopping.
T: Who was right? Please hands up.
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.Buying things
T:I like going shopping at weekends. If I want to buy some beautiful dresses and skirts, I can go to the shop. If I want to buy some food, I can go to the supermarket. I like going window shopping at the shopping centre. If I want to buy some books, I can go to the bookshop. I can buy some fresh fruit at the fruit shop. I like eating bread very much. So I often go to the bakeshop. If I want to have a big lunch with my family, we can go to the restaurant.
PPT依次出现图片:shop,supermarket,shopping centre,bookshop,fruit shop,bakeshop,restaurant。
2.T: When I go shopping, I always see these things. (PPT呈现公共标志图片)。
T: They are signs. There are many signs. They mean different things. They can tell us what can we do and what we can’t do.
3.Look and say(PPT出示故事图片1)
T: Who are they?
4.Listen and answer:
T: Where are they? Please listen to the tape, than answer my question.
T—S: juice shop, restaurant
5.Read and choose
T: Now please read the story quickly, than finish the exercises on page 50 “Read and choose.”
T: Number 1, Where are Mike, Helen and Tim? How do you know?(依次讨论4个选择题,并追问如何得出答案,让学生说说依据)。
6.Look and answer
T: What does it mean? (PPT出示标志“Wet floor”)
T—S: It means ‘Wet floor’. It means the floor is wet.
采用此法依次教学:
What does it mean?
It means ‘No littering’ / ‘No eating or drinking’ / ‘No smoking’.
It means you can’t litter / eat or drink / smoke here.
7.Listen and repeat
T: Now let’s listen to the tape, repeat the sentences.
T: Now it’s your turn to read the story. Then you can act in your groups.

三、教后反思:
本课是六年级上册第五单元Story time部分对句型的语篇阅读教学。在学习回答的过程中要注意单独把每一部分的图片都放大,让学生对着每张图片进行口述,培养学生的复述能力,然后让一个小组学生拿着图片去问另一个小组的学生,小组之间进行竞争,看哪个小组最棒,回答的更完整。这样带有竞争性的小组互动能够充分调动起学生的季积性。
在教学的过程中学生的层次不一,所以要有针对性,根据不同的教学对话采取小组合作,以达到整体的提高。在学习的过程中要培养学生倾听的习惯及互相合作的团队精神。特别注意要用同一层次的学生去考同一层次的学生,这样的竞争才有公平性可言,在教学的过程中要充分注意到这一点,对不同阶段的学生进行不同层次的表扬,充分调动学生的学习兴趣。
本单元是对话教学,课后可以让学生自己仿照图片编对话,这样既复习了句型,又对本文进行了创新。
