Story time教学中语法知识的渗透和习题的设置

——6B Unit 3 A healthy diet”为例

六年级英语第二次备课组活动

2016—2017 学年第二学期)

一、情况概述

2017310,六年级英语组的全体成员在行政楼411教师办公室开展了第二次集体备课。本次备课组活动以“6B Unit 3 A healthy diet”为例,研究如何在Story time板块中渗透语法知识教学和设置相关的习题。

二、教学设计

(一)教学目标:

1. Learn the vocabulary: healthy, diet, meat, vegetable 

2. Learn the sentences: He\She eats a lot of\ some\a few\ a little…

3. 能正确地理解并朗读课文内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试叙述自己或他人的饮食。

4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型谈论自己对所学内容的看法。

5. 能使学生认识到要养成健康饮食,健康生活的习惯。

(二)教学重点:

1. Learn the vocabulary: healthy, diet, meat, vegetable 

2. Learn the sentences: He\She eats a lot of\ some\a few\ a little…

3. 能正确地理解并朗读课文内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试叙述自己或他人的饮食。

(三)教学难点:

1. 初步理解形容词 a lot of\ some\a few\ a little de 用法。

2. 能正确地理解并朗读课文内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文或叙述自己或他人的饮食。

3.阅读策略的学习,通过完成表格、食物金字塔等来深刻理解健康饮食的含义。

(四)教具准备:录音机、挂图、食物金字塔图片

(五)教学过程:

Step1. Warm up

1. Greeting

T: Good morning\afternoonboys and girls.

Ss: Good morning\afternoon, Miss\ Mr. …

2. Free talk

T: What did you have for breakfast ?

Ss: I had… today. (2-3)

T: We know a lot of food. Today we will talk about food. Please say more in groups.

2分钟的时间复习以前学过的单词。

T: What do you like to eat\drink?

Ss: I like to eat\drink …

T: Are they healthy food?

Learn the new word healthy. (Healthy means they are good for our bodies. )

Then Ss say some healthy food.(…)

Step2. Presentation

1. Talk about the food pyramid

T: Our bodies need food to give us energy.

Look at the food pyramid. Show the phrases: a lot of, some, a little, a few, How much should we need?

Talk about the meaning of the phrases in groups. 通过课件呈现图片,通过比较的方法理解意思上的区别,然后介绍与名词的搭配用法。

Ss: We need a lot of\ some\ a little\ a few… (帮助学生理解理解四个词组的含义,前两个学生不会出错,对于后两个的使用可以点拨提示)

PPT呈现图片:  第一组a lot of eggs, some eggs, a few eggs

第二组a lot of apples, some apples, a few eggs

第三组a lot of cola, some cola, a little cola

第四组  a lot of rice, some rice, a little rice

学生自主练习或小组内操练,然后个别展示。让学生初步理解健康饮食要有的限制。

2.Text teaching.(1)T: The food pyramid shows us a healthy diet. Learn the new word diet .(diet means somebody’s eating and drinking habits. )

What do they have for three meals?

 Read the text and finish the form.

T: What and how much do they have?  Let’s read the text and finish the form.

(2) Read and finish the exercise on P28, True or false.

 Check the answer together.

(3) Finish the exercise on P28, Read and write.

Step3. Consolidation

1. Reading time

T: Now we know the story. Let’s listen and repeat.

(1)First, the students read the text in groups and help each other. The teacher helps the students to read better.

(2)Secondly, read the story by yourselves. Please pay attention to the intonation, pause ,stress and linking.

2. Retell the text.

3. Discuss in groups Let’s look at Mike and Yang Ling’s diet.

T: Who has a healthy diet? Why?

Ss: Mike likes sweet food, they’re bad for teeth. He drinks a little water every day.

T: Being healthy is the most important. Please make a healthy diet for yourself.

(PPT出示表格)

4. Summary.

A healthy diet.

A happy life.

A bright future.

Step4 .Homework

1. Listen and read the story.

2. Retell the story.

3. Make a healthy diet for your family members.

三、综合评价

1. 通过Free talk复习以往所学食物,检查预习情况,从而引出参考句型,设置合理。由简入难,能够激发学生学习的兴趣。

2. 教学活动中,能够引导学生自主学习,针对课文进行提问和回答。并在问答中总结语法规律,再出示本课语法知识点,水到渠成。

3. 教师注意观察小组成员的参与率,从而检查学生课文的掌握情况。

4. 通过小组辩论,让学生体会各种食物的利与弊。

5.点拨:让学生说说自己的关于健康饮食的建议,学以致用。
